Attention Marketers: Who Wants an Opportunity to Work with Neil Patel?

This is not an April Fools joke.

neil patel

Everyday, I get tons of emails from people like you who want to work with me. I rarely ever do anything with those emails as I already have a decent size team.

But it hit me this morning: I should try to do a better job helping others to advance in their marketing careers. Why can’t I train someone and make them the next great online marketer?

I really believe I can. So what I’m going to do is hire and pay 3 people. I’m going to train you in everything I know about online marketing and help guide you to a successful career.

Here’s what you need to know before you apply

Requirements

There are a few requirements for this position:

  1. You must be able to work 40 hours a week. If you are in school or have other commitments, this won’t work.
  2. You have to be able to work remotely. This job is open to anyone around the world. So if you are able to work from home, great.
  3. You need to read Quick Sprout. If you haven’t read a lot of the posts or guides on Quick Sprout, then you probably aren’t a good fit.
  4. You need to know the basics of online marketing. I don’t have time to train someone from scratch, so the more knowledge you have, the better.
  5. You have to be willing to work hard. If you are lazy, please don’t waste my time.
  6. You have to be passionate about online marketing. I’m a big believer that you should focus on what you love. If you don’t love online marketing, then you should consider a different career path.
  7. You have to love helping others. This is probably my biggest passion in life. Helping others is what truly makes me happy, and it’s what motivates me to work.

If you meet the requirements, feel free to apply here.

Conclusion

If you want to learn more about online marketing and you are interested in career in the space, feel free to apply here.

And due to the number of readers on Quick Sprout, if you have a personal note for me, please leave it by writing a comment. I’m currently getting 400 plus emails a day, and it’s hard for me to keep up with the volume. 🙁

P.S. Don’t forget to apply.

P.P.S. If you have a special note that you want to get across, feel free to email mike@neilpatel.com. Mike and I will be reviewing all of the applicants together over the next 7 days.

If you want to break through to real profits online, you need some serious firepower. For a limited time I’m sharing some select tips and tricks Amazon, Microsoft, NBC & Hewlett Packard paid thousands of dollars per hour for, FREE.

  1. Naman Nepal :

It’s like an open invitation to saying – ‘If you can’t beat them, join them’. Haha. However, may the best one get in the place. I’ll only be looking forward to competing in the same niche that you’re going to start by today; the one you mentioned about the nutrition blog. =D

    • Christopher Pontine :

      Hey Naman,

Well, if I could utilize Neil to increase my marketing knowledge I’d be OK to join them and take care of that one for sure. 🙂

      Thanks,

      Christopher Pontine

      • Naman Nepal :

        Hi Christopher,

I should have added- ‘….join them, learn them, leave them and beat them’ then. 😀

        Good Luck. 🙂

        • Christopher & Naman: The challenge is still in the works and is on — I just had a pressing need to provide this opportunity as well.

      • Couldn´t imagine a better teacher in online marketing than Neil Patel.

The next employee of Neil is definitely going to be very succesful in online business…

        Good luck at all 🙂

    • Greg Schueler :

We would be an April Fool not to apply for this great opportunity!

    • Hey Neil… Time passes sooooo fast… You know I realized that I started reading your blog back in 2008. You are one of the few (very low information diet for me) marketers that I get information from. I like to keep up with what you are doing and how you are doing it.

One of my favorite post on your blog was this (was super funny):
      https://www.quicksprout.com/2008/09/02/give-a-man-a-fish-and-hell-eat-for-a-day-teach-a-man-to-fish-and-hell-steal-your-fish/

Lol… I remember that post making my morning that day. The picture was super funny. Anyhoo, I hope that you are still taking applications. Talk to you soon,

      Kenney

  2. Hey Neil, thanks for this great opening. The Nigerian and indeed the Africa marketing space is huge and alot of guys are doing marketing the wrong way, i was wondering if you and i can partner to cover up the marketing space in Nigeria and Africa, i think there are alot of budget for online marketing. I know you are busy but what if i identify the clients and we both check out the potential of the client. I wont not mind been your eyes and ears in Africa. This will further spread your influence in Nigeria and Africa. No doubt you are a global star.

    • Johnson, Thanks for all the support. I definitely would help anyone out from any geographic region — It’s important to really create an ecosystem of excellence in the marketing space.

  3. Trevor Gustaveson :

I think I may have been the first to apply. Hopefully that wins me brownie points.

  4. Aqif Azizan :

This is a golden opportunity. Thanks Neil Patel. I’ve applied.

Looking forward to hear from you and Mike.

  5. WOW I am so in! Hope I get a place 🙂

  6. Barry Byers :

I don’t fit the profile but if you do, this offer is insanely generous and a life changing opportunity.

  7. Hey Neil,

I will be applying for sure, this sounds great!

    Cheers,
    Wally

  8. Lida Hasbrouck :

Hopefully not just for April Fools 😉

  9. Jeff Walker :

Does anyone else smell a digital growth hacking April Fool’s joke?

    • hahaha

      good observation

not sure if it’s a joke, but it’s funny how easy it is to forget what day it is.

      • Jeff & Raza – I made sure to make a note that it isn’t a joke just in case there was a suspicion.

  10. Steve Estimable :

Neil, thanks to your generosity life will reward you!

  11. Sonny Shivani :

    Neil — I’m in brother.

  12. Peter Nicholls :

Neil, this sounds like a too good to be true opportunity that I’d love to apply for! When are you going to announce it’s an April fools joke? 😉

  13. This isn’t an April fool is it?

  14. Oh I seriously hope this is not some April’s fool:) I mean, it’s seriously too good to be true! But hey… I’m ready to work very hard, 20 hours per day if necessary, so if this is for real, I’m applying RIGHT NOW.

Thanks Neil, and by the way, if this was a some kind of joke for April’s fool…you owe me that position 😉

  15. April Fools’ Day

  16. First of all, great opportunity Neil.

I focus more on the middle eastern market and whenever I read a new post on your website, I’m always wondering whether your advice will work in the market I’m focusing on. Anyway, If you ever need a challenge in a new market then don’t hesitate to contact me.

  17. I’d love to apply, would we apply everything to our current startup? or we would have to quit?

  18. Madame Ostrich :

Wait… No seriously, is this an April Fool’s joke? If so, my dreams have been shattered.

  19. Hahaha…. Good One Neil! Hope you write a post on how much traffic you got by this one post!

    • Ashwini — this is more to help people and less to generate traffic.

      • Sachin Rajgire :

        Hey Ashwini
Neil have to nice to you not me .You should have realized by now if you have read quicksprout thru years that Neil is traffic guru and he does not need to use cheap tricks to get some extra traffic. You must be someone with fake account trying to devalue someones genuine efforts.

  20. manujeevanprakash :

    Hi Neil,

Is this opportunity only for people who are looking to advance their careers or is it also for people who wants to start their own digital marketing agency.

    Thanks/Manu

    • Manujeevanprakash, as long as you fit the criteria above the ultimate career goals aren’t as important.

  21. You are my inspiration , i would like to work with you

    Basil

  22. Diep Hong Bui :

Hi Neil nice to hear that, I love online marketing, ofcourse love to work with you too

    Diep Hong Bui

  23. Neil,

This is a great opportunity. I’ve been following you for ages now.

Can’t wait to work with you. 😉

    Best,
    Gabby

  24. Neil!

Is this because of the comment I wrote on your post “How to Make $100,000 a Month Within 1 Year”

This is virtually exactly what I suggested and posted on the facebook post.

I said you didn’t have to pay me though. You could even get a cut of the profits as we are launching our online business. We are also in a position to make a huge difference to people working with government, leaders in industry and olympic athletes. What I want to do is bring our amazing content to the masses. Though.

    • Zander, I wish I could say it was. I’ve had this plan for a while now. Thanks for the feedback though!

  25. I was eager to know the rules but the very beginning rule has not matched. So sorry for me… My bad luck

  26. I am ready to pay you to work with you. Lol.

Best of luck to all who get applied.

No I didn’t apply one less competetor for you guys. ????

  27. Great opportunity.

But for everyone who doesn’t qualify, you’re much better off becoming good at something, participating in the community (relevant blogs, forums, etc.) then launching your own blog or YouTube channel.

The “gotta be good at something” thing is the tricky part though.

You can have crappy marketing, but if you’re saying something worthwhile, people will tell others about you.

  28. Hi Neil,

I am a big fan or yours, when i started to learn about online marketing, I came to your site and read “The Ultimate Guide to SEO” and from then I follow you. Maybe this is an April Fool’s Joke but I am happy that I am learning a lot from your blogs and hopeful that I will get to learn more. God Bless You.

  29. This got to be April’s fool joke, is to good to be true. I was so excited for such a great opportunity until I realized that it is April 1st.

  30. Robert L Sasse :

IF YOU ARE READING THIS BLOG POST “YOU” CANNOT AFFORD TO MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY.
    .
I was blessed by having the opportunity to spend two days last January having a question and answer training with Neil over a weekend in Las Vegas. For two days Neil Patel trained us how to blog and create engaging material that people are willing to do anything to follow.
    .
It doesn’t matter if you are 17 or 71 if you are selected to spend time with Neil dump everything you think you know and soak up this knowledge. Simply following his tactic of engagement with the reader has created an unbelievable change in my following with my blog. Blogging is going to change the landscape of communication between business and the consumer and Neil Patel is light years ahead of the industry with his tactics and knowledge.
    .
Being personally mentored by Neil Patel will change your life and can give you the ability to create a lifestyle and an income such as less than .1% of the people in this country. You deserve to have the chance in life to attain success and if you listen, learn, apply, and follow what Neil can teach; you will have the opportunity far and above anyone.
    .
Make a commitment to yourself to succeed and sign up for Neil’s offer. You cannot afford to miss this opportunity.

    • Robert, thanks for the kind words of support — they mean a lot. If you need anymore help with anything let me know.

    • Robert – your comments gave me goosebumps. I can only imagine the impact those two days had for you and others. Now I’m imaging the potential for MONTHS with Neil’s knowledge at my disposal. Thank you for your insights. Good luck to us all!

  31. Amazing opportunity, good luck too everyone who applies and congratulations to whoever gets the role!

  32. Raza Nagori :

Hey Neil it,s Great i want to in but i Don,t Thinks i can Because i don,t Have good Marketing Skill 🙁

  33. I seriously hope this is not an april fools joke.
If it’s not, then it would be a dream come true to work with neil.

  34. Get More Website Traffic :

    WOW!

    What an opportunity!

(Is this actually an april fools joke?)

  35. Oh wow, what an amazing opportunity! This would be like getting a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket! 🙂 To be part of this level of marketing team is truly a case of nobody ever goes in, and nobody ever comes out, and yet, delicious marketing candy is magically produced every day. I’d love to see the inside of the factory!

  36. I’m all in Neil!

  37. Dan Creviston :

This would be a dream come true. However, I am in school, work 40+ hours per week already, and have other side jobs as well as my own business ideas.

I won’t waste your time, but I would love to have a friendly conversation with you one day, Neil.

  38. Awesome idea Neil. Applied. But im afraid its a April fool’s joke.. 🙂

Will await and see.. Keep up the good work. Really enjoying your content.

    Best, Bennie

  39. Shivani Goel :

Hey Neil, this is a great gesture on your part.Have applied and I do hope I get a chance to work with you…Cheers

  40. Count me in Neil – app. sent!

HELP ME SMASH IT by the end of 2015!

  41. Neil, this is killer offer and no one could ever miss it. I know the TIME is most precious thing in this world and this is a great contribution of yours. Respect for you and congratulations for the lucky winners in advance who will get this special opportunity.

    thanks
    khurram

  42. Kevin Bowen :

Just when I thought Neil and his missions couldn’t get any more exciting and life changing – he goes and surprises me, again! I’m putting in my application shortly.

OH… and love the new haircut Neil, fits you well!

  43. Pawel Puchalski :

Neil, working with and learning from you would truly be the best experience I can ask for as a recent college grad and passionate online business growth strategist. I hope to hear from you and Mike! 🙂

  44. I knew this was not an April Fools joke. 🙂

I already pass an application Neil.. thanks

  45. Hi Neil —

Silly question, but have to double check: is the Google docs and the entire application process confidential?

    Thanks!

  46. What an opportunity for someone that wants to get into online marketing. I am glad you cleared up the April fools thing, bad timing I guess!

  47. Priyankar Mukherjee :

    Hi Neil,

I have a better suggestion. I think you should do something which will help the masses. Rather than helping a small group of 4 to 5 people would it not be beneficial if you put your full effort on training the mass? What about that new blog idea in the “nutrition” niche? It is also a matter of fact that not all of us can devote 40 hours a week since we already have our prior engagements. But people like me would definitely want to learn from you. So let me know what you think….

    Regards…

    • Priyankar, great suggestion — however, I am doing the two concurrently so it won’t be an issue.

  48. I would SO apply for this if I didn’t have other commitments. I hope you’ll share with us how many applicants you get, Neil.

  49. Hi Neil,

I just got back from my nature hike up in the mountains, enjoying the beauty of spring. With that being said, I have submitted my application and I am looking forward to gaining wisdom from you 🙂

This is like Christmas to me, excitedly awaiting your response of selection sir..

    John Pate

  50. All 7 boxes checked . Will definitely be applying and hope to get selected as well.

  51. Keith Bresee :

    Hey Neil!

Ive never said this, but I really appreciate the fact that you reply to almost every comment! Not many people do that. I think its awesome!

    Just applied. Talk soon! 🙂

    Be awesome!
    Keith

  52. neelam niroula :

Hi Niel, I was just wowed by reading this post, and I believe you should definitely hire me as one ..you never know! May be neelam niroula becomes the exact replica of niel patel 🙂 even if it’s April fool, I am ready to be under ur guidance, and you need not spend much time on me. So, rest is in ur mind whether to hire me or schedule an interview,,:)

  53. Hey Neil! Love your blog, I’ve been reading it recently and already dig it! SO many tips! You’re the best thing that could happen to me! I’m applying! Cheers!
    Cyn

  54. Carlos Dias :

    Hi Neil!

I’m a Brazilian entrepreneur and a really love online marketing, among a lot of marketing resources around the web I’ve choosing follow you here on QuickSprout and in your new website, neilpatel.com.

I am very excited with this opportunity.

    Thank you man!

  55. Suad, don’t let it stop you from making your dreams a reality. There are a million courses and tools that you can buy, but the reality is so many people don’t implement their learnings because there is always something else to buy. I’ve been in that trap. It’s another rat race.

You can learn an insane amount of information on this blog alone. Neil puts so much time and energy into providing real information. For free. If you know the basics, start with the basics, you’ll learn while you work on it. Don’t worry about being advanced before you start. I hope you can avoid distractions, believe in yourself enough to make a simple plan and goals and take action. Best of luck to you!

    • You don’t know my parents. Whenever I try something new they’ll give me chores and I’ll be tired at the end of the day to do it. I need 7 hours to complete a 2 hour movie, because I need to do chores, mostly the same ones I did yesterday. It takes me 8 hours to write a 500 words article. Why? Chores. The next best thing I could do is write an Amazon book and send it to a bunch of people for free as a review copy, hope that they’ll like it and blog about it. I don’t want to go to college, spend a bunch of money and time on something that won’t be worth anything.
My dad had a job for 25 years and then he decided to go to college. Luckily, not long after he finished it someone in his office retired and he got their position (it’s a big position) and now they say I could do it too if I study. My mum doesn’t want me to find a job that’s “incident” (like a cashier or waiter, meaning, I can’t finance my projects like domains and hosting at the very least). She wants my first job to be as a CEO at some big ass company.
And often they would stop giving me any allowance, saying that the economy is bad and that I’m selfish, but 1 week later, my mom booked a trip to Turkey, Istanbul. How crazy is that. Imagine how many tools I could have gotten for the amount she spend on that trip, and I didn’t even wanted to go.
And I really hate my family. Everyone is, go to college, stop your stupid dreams. I’m currently depressed. Do you know how hard it is to voice your opinion when people say “NO” to you all the time. I started counting. It was 17 times yesterday.
I wanted to make videos, but all my microphones/headsets (4 in the last year) were destroyed by a stupid argument.
Want to work out? Not here. You’re already thin, you need to eat more. And she brings me snacks every 20 minutes, to distract me. I’m loosing it.
Also, here is an image of how I feel
      http://imgur.com/pD6Ob9N
Well, this was a long rant.

      • Jordan flynn :

        Suad,

I would move out of home if you are able to.

        Go for your dreams.

I would also find your own source of income if you can.

The longer you live off your parents allowance the longer you give away your power to them.

Always stay self reliant my friend, that way you never have to close your eyes and swallow a big spoonful of someone else’s shit :).

Your more powerful then you realise.

        Good luck,

        Jordan

        • Thanks Jordan,
Unfortunately, that is not possible because to get a job where I live you need to find someone and pay them to hire you. There is an interesting story here, the son of the Prime Minister, who finished college but was dead last in his class, got a job even though other that have applied had a much better score. I also have a love-hate relationship with my parents, on one hand I don’t want to disappoint them, on the other they hinder me.
By the way, I have checked you site, it’s good but try using Addthis instead of Sumome. It has a free option and it’s very good.

    • Have you ever been to Bosnia. 500.000 people are unemployed officially, 55.000 have a college degree. The number is lower because the black economy is booming. You can get a job, but no healthcare, no free days. And there are only 2 ways to get a job (99% of the time), pay someone $10.000 to hire you or have a family business. Something I don’t have. Bosnia is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, or at lease Europe. Well, it’s only in Europe geographically, because the EU doesn’t think much of Bosnia and Europe has to deny corruption, because it’s Europe. They mention Bosnia a few times now and then to make people believe that that they care.
I haven’t done anything much for the last 3 months, as I said, I depressed. If you know how to improve the situation I’m all ears. Please.

  56. Kadir Nainar :

Neil will be applying to your offer. Dunno if i will be there if i’m lucky i glad to learn your tricks.

    Kadir

  57. Hi Neil, I’m in South Africa, can I apply ?

  58. Hey Neil, I have applied and I don’t wanna miss the opportunity to Work with you..

This is like, my dream come true.

Please review my application and interview me please.

I would love to hear from you 🙂
    Thanks!

  59. Well I applied.

The terms used in the last question confused me a little bit.

Hopefully you would still work with me because I want to learn from a pro.

    • Chris — what terms were confusing. Maybe I can clarify…

      • Well, I don’t have any experience with breaking down other companies stuff pretty much.

I mean I use google analytics for myself, but that’s about it.

Hope this doesn’t hurt my chances because I want to be able to work from home and make a living.

  60. Neil, I know you’re authentic and love your values which is why I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with you for free.

  61. Ahmed Shawan :

Looks like marketers have great efforts to work out with Neil patel who is now an anchor in affiliation and marketing world.

I hope, this could be great chance to learn more efficient strategies from upcoming series of making $100K per month from a nutrition blog.

    Nice blog

  62. Hello Neil,

I have also submitted my application. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Regards,

    Hey Neil,

I have submitted the form.I have personally sent a special comment on above email. This is my dream I work under you.

  64. Hi Neil,

This is an amazing opportunity. If you ever offer something like this for people who are willing to hustle early in the morning, during lunch time and at night I would be all over it.

Have fun with this and good luck to others applying. For the time being, I’ll keep my eyes on the information about how to start a successful blog from scratch.

    Peace!

    Steven

  65. Darren Stover :

Hey Neil, tell your main man Mike I applied. I hope to hear from you guys.

    Darren Stover

  66. What an awesome opportunity 😀 I would love, love to apply but I am in school taking marketing classes at the moment and am in the process of setting up my own website, online jobs and exploring motherhood.

Maybe in the future if you want some interns (hint, nudge), I really am passionate about learning marketing skills, techniques and etiquette I would enjoy learning from you.

Hope you find the best candidates, I am sure they will benefit immensely.

  67. Chris Penny :

Neil, this is an amazing opportunity. Really, the golden opportunity for alot of people. When is the deadline for applications. I would like a day to really objectively assess the situation and see i I meet your criteria, instead of just selfishly submitting.

As well, If I do meet the criteria, I would like to do something special to differentiate myself.

Cheers, and in the event I do apply, may the wind be at my back and dice be kind.

    Sincerely Yours,

    Chris

  68. Stephen Delisle :

Like many people, I couldn’t believe it when I read your subject line Neil…

“Who Wants an Opportunity to Work with Neil Patel?”!!!

Are you kidding me? Me! That’s who!

What a great opportunity for 3 people.

My application is submitted. Hopefully it stands out from the crowd so I can make it to the next round.

  70. Hey,

What an awesome news Neil.! You’re truly are a Rockstar whose just there to help people like us
Well I’m definitely going to apply and see if I can be the lucky one.

And from your given requirement of number of hours, I can firmly say that I can give 80 hours a week and that’s not April fools joke too.!!

I’m definitely looking forward to your response, since I’m totally into a new phase of my career, At this point having you as a mentor is like everything to me.

For me its like getting a job in Facebook or Apple, I hope you can imagine my intensity and excitement for this.

    Thanks
    Abhimanyu,

    • Abhimanyu, thanks for all the support. Looking forward to hearing much more from you. Stay tuned to find out more about the opportunity to work with me.

  71. Samarjit Sinha :

Did someone deleted my comment which I made before??? I do not see it anymore!!!!!!

Also did my job application also got deleted??

    Let me know.

    • Samarjit, the comment may have gone to spam depending on your content within it.

The application would definitely not get deleted because the two are not linked. Stay tuned to find out more about the application process and thanks for applying.

      • Benjamin Alijagic :

        Neil,

        My comment also disappeared, hmm.

It’s weird because it was there for like 12+ hours. I think spam detector would remove it immediately.

Could you please whitelist me or something? It’s like third time that happened. :/

        Thanks,
        Ben

      • Samarjit Sinha :

        Neil,

Thanks for the reply!! I was little worried as I thought that the application also got deleted. I can’t just let this opportunity get away.

        Looking forward to the results.

        Thanks,
        Samarjit

  72. Hey Neil,

Lemme share a story, My sister’s B’day comes on April 1st. I remember those childhood days when we used to invite our friends and relatives for B’Day celebration but nobody believe us and before cutting the cake, we again literally had to pull some of the friends to our house to make them believe that yes it is a real B’Day …… Hope the same goes for your post..

I am, Kapil Anand, one of the applicant looking forward eagerly to work under the patronage of Neil Patel.

I wish all the fellow applicants all the best !!!

    • Kapil, haha great story — this is the real deal so be on the lookout for more details on applicants who get the job.

  73. pruthvi bardolia :

Seems like someone didn’t liked my comment as well. Have already applied and looking for a reply from neil about his update on $100000 a month website.

    Any updates about it neil?

  74. Gary Bloomer :

    Dear Neil,

I have a question about my application (sent via the online form last night in a formatted version via e-mail earlier this morning).

While watching the interview you did with with Vishen Lakhiani at MindValley, I realized my answer to the question about website review and blueprint creation omitted two important elements.

May I file an addendum to support my application?

    Respectfully,

    Gary B.

  77. James Mascarenhas :

Why can’t I train someone and make them the next great online marketer?

As soon as i read this i remember this line from “Wolf Of Wall Street”

Jordan Belfort: But what if they didn’t sound like a bunch of jerk-offs? What if I could teach them how to sell to the people with money? Real money. So I decided to reinvent the company.

By the way i forwarded my resume to you and looking forward to work with you. Hope “Mike” is “Listening” this 🙂

    • James, that’s a great line — one of the few decent takeaways from the movie haha. Looking forward to seeing your application.

  78. Hey Neil and Mike,

Thanks for the amazing opportunity – just submitted my application.

Hope to be part of the select few that are allowed “backstage” 🙂

    Cheers,
    Aaron
