  2. Super powerful techniques for better and effective landing page optimization shared in an easy to understand infographic image.

But, I found something tasking for me ever since I’ve started my online business, I just don’t know how to persuade people to take action on my site and it is really affecting my business.

I’m in the tech industry but it seems unmonetizable.

    Please help Neil.

Thanks for your wonderful tips for success

    • Hi Olawale Daniel ,
I saw your website and thought i could give you a small tip . Try to reduce the number of fields on your contact form , ask only the most needed information from your clients . Even deleting a single field can boost your conversion rates.

      Cheers!!!

    • Olawale, what questions do you have specifically. I would love to help out 🙂

  3. Great Infographic Neil,

The landing page is a most important page to grab lead from your customers. It is a good strategy used by many email marketers. This infographic helps a lot to optimize landing page and grab more lead from it.
Thank you for sharing it. 🙂

  4. Awesome Neil! I read the article but this makes it even more clear but I guess the ultimate layout depends on your targeted visitors as well.

Anyway, I will change my landing page to reflect some of your suggestions. In particular getting a 3rd party verification. Can’t wait to see how that will work out 🙂

  5. This is very interesting to learn, I really like the step by step easy to understand especially for beginners, thank you

  6. Hi Neil ,
The URL of a landing page is very important while optimising .

Most of the rules for landing page URLs are actually very similar to page titles:

    1) I prefer to keep it short.Because, most search engines only show about 65 characters in the URL portion, and some of these will be taken up by a domain name (e.g. http://www.redevon.com….), leaving with only a few dozen characters to work with .

    2) I use slashes to separate concepts and phrases. For example, if you’re promoting an offer about generating leads through social media in 2014, your URL to the landing page might be:

    /lead-generation/social-media/2014-predictions/

and you’d also have a page on generating leads through social media at

    /lead-generation/social-media/

and a more general page on lead generation at

    /lead-generation/

    Cheers !!

  7. My website, http://www.petrecericopii.eu is on the first page of Google.ro important keywords field, but very few orders.
In the first period, without having good positions in Google (or a keyword on first page), brought an order or two orders daily.
    The website is in Romanian.
I do not understand anything. Perhaps this article written by you will help me.

    • Farcas, I am sure it will. Please let me know if you need any specific help and I can help address the issues you are having 🙂

      • I’ll try to write using Google translate, I hope that there will be great errors.
Thank you, you are very kind. I do not understand how and why the number of queries dropped to zero when Google.ro positions have improved tremendously (first 2 … 4 positions on Google.ro for the main keyword in the field).
Logic would have been that the number of orders to increase, not decrease.
I do not think that changes to lower conversion rate.
If you have time (I know that you do not have time;)) and you want to do this, please study some time over my website.
If you do not have time for this, there is no problem, it’s understandable.
Thank you for everything and please excuse me if I’ve used your time.

  18. Great post, Neil. We find Qualaroo a really helpful tool for getting the qualitative analysis to improve landing pages. You don’t want to keep it on 100% of the time, but asking questions like “why did you decide not to sign up/convert/buy today?” to get insights for future tests is a great idea.

Also, thanks a ton for the Unbounce shoutout!

Keep preaching the good stuff 🙂

  19. Brilliant Neil! We’re currently building 3 new landing pages and this helps reinforce what we were trying to do. CrazyEgg is THE judge on what people do and further optimization, we would be out of biz without it!

    You rock 🙂

    Good weekend,

  30. Using social proof – eg testimonials or well known client/brand names – on your homepage is another proven way to boost conversions. As long as they are verified (ie not just a name) this can immediately create credibility and legitimacy.

  31. Testing will always be crucial in optimizing a landing page. I have tried creating a page before and just followed what the ‘experts’ are saying. It failed.

What worked for me is testing the elements until you get your maximum conversion rate.

  32. Hi Neil,

Just realize how important it is to concentrate on the landing page and at least I have got the tips on how to optimize it. Am ready to go and apply them on my blogs.
    Thanks for the share. Laura.

  33. When questioning the factory about planning potential, not only inquire as to
the number, but also as to the manner in which the planning was derived, the date
it was determined, when it is expected to be updated,
whether it reflects actual sales in the market area and if
not, why not. It is rapidly quick and outrageously agile, but, however not as robust as
the Hannibal or Wild Bull. Safe and secure:
One of the prime benefits of this service is that you get to travel with experienced drivers.

  34. I do not know if it’s just me or if perhaps everybody else experiencing problems with your site.
It seems like some of the text in your posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know
if this is happening to them as well? This may be a issue with my internet browser because
I’ve had this happen previously. Cheers

  35. Hey there,
your infographic gives a good overview of mocking up / implementing a landing page. But I would also take a look at one of the most important things during the process of creating a landing page: The analysis.
You have to target the right audience. To do that, you need the analysis 😉

btw: You have a lot of popups, floatings bar and other stuff. I’d recommend you to reduce it.

    Regards,
    Ruslan
