How to Optimize a Landing Page

  1. Identify the main elements on your landing page.
  2. Edit the landing page so that it is search engine friendly and usable.
  3. Run A/B tests using quantitative and qualitative feedback.

If you aren’t optimizing your landing pages, you are missing out on a lot of revenue. By creating specific pages for different marketing channels, you’ll be able to customize your marketing message, which will provide revenue lifts.

If you are not technical, an easy way to get started with creating landing pages is by using tools like Unbounce. It has a WYSIWYG editor that makes the process of landing page creation simple.

      I saw your website and thought i could give you a small tip . Try to reduce the number of fields on your contact form , ask only the most needed information from your clients . Even deleting a single field can boost your conversion rates.

    Hi Neil ,
    The URL of a landing page is very important while optimising .

    Most of the rules for landing page URLs are actually very similar to page titles:

    1) I prefer to keep it short.Because, most search engines only show about 65 characters in the URL portion, and some of these will be taken up by a domain name (e.g.….), leaving with only a few dozen characters to work with .

    2) I use slashes to separate concepts and phrases. For example, if you’re promoting an offer about generating leads through social media in 2014, your URL to the landing page might be:

    My website, is on the first page of important keywords field, but very few orders.
    In the first period, without having good positions in Google (or a keyword on first page), brought an order or two orders daily.
    The website is in Romanian.

You don’t want to keep it on 100% of the time, but asking questions like “why did you decide not to sign up/convert/buy today?” to get insights for future tests is a great idea.

    Using social proof – eg testimonials or well known client/brand names – on your homepage is another proven way to boost conversions. As long as they are verified (ie not just a name) this can immediately create credibility and legitimacy.

    What worked for me is testing the elements until you get your maximum conversion rate.

    your infographic gives a good overview of mocking up / implementing a landing page. But I would also take a look at one of the most important things during the process of creating a landing page: The analysis.
    You have to target the right audience. To do that, you need the analysis 😉

    btw: You have a lot of popups, floatings bar and other stuff. I’d recommend you to reduce it.
