@ Neil Once again very awesome tips, amazing.
I will definitely implement this art.
Great, let me know how it works out for you.
Excellent info graphics.
I guess if you have build original or real followers then you can get a lot of tweets. It takes time to build original and quality followers.
Thank you for quality explanation.
Yep, you are correct.
According to the infographic best day to tweet is friday? I heard that late afternoon Wednesday is the best day to tweet.
I heard the same from other sources. Neil, do you have any comment? Thanks!
Yep, the information is to help maximize how many retweets you get, not necessarily pure visibility.
It is for all of the links in the sources. To clarify it says the best time to tweet if you want the most retweets is Friday.
The best time to tweet if you want the most visibility is probably Wednesday (I would have to double check).
I want infographics like this dammit!
You should do 1 a week on your site.
Beautiful infographic – who is your designer?
Amazing how seemingly small changes can boost up rates.
I used http://www.singlegrain.com to get it designed and made.
Again infographics rock. Do you do yours inhouse or do you use an external agency?
Nope, I outsource the creation to http://www.singlegrain.com
A very concise and practical set of tips here, Neil. Good work on the design as well.
I find the fact that “Tweets about Twitter get retweeted more” is a little amusing
Another tip for getting more retweets: form marketing alliances with friends and trusted partners who agree to help you spread your content via RTs in exchange for you helping them as well.
Thank you Matt,
Appreciate your added input.
Thanks Neil, I’m going to start implementing today.
Awesome, let me know how it goes.
Great tips. Some of them are known but the stats are simply awesome. Thanks again for valuable info!
Thanks Chande, glad you enjoyed it.
Neil we have a conversation at the office about twitter last week …. I made a blog post about it http://www.wakondamarketing.com/url-shorteners-twitter/
Our conclusion was that long urls are better… After that, in a conference with @lucdupont , we have been told to use the bit.ly url’s … Then on your site, your twitter exerpt is programmed with the long url. Im still confused and I would be happy to have your comment here and maybe on my website !
The longer the URL the less room there will be to tweet. The shorter the URL the better… mainly in that case.
Excellent infographics ..
Biggest takeaway for me is:
“Tweet between noon to 2pm of the day mostly on Friday or Thursday”
Thanks Vijay, thanks for letting me know what information you found helpful.
Hey Neil,
Nice infographic!
Do you have any tips specific to B2B?
The same tips above apply to B2B.
The timing info. is the real deal for me. Now I know exactly when to tweet i.e between noon and 2 pm. And yeah your designer deserves a pay raise.
LOL, thanks! Yea, I have some good designers… they are already expensive though.
Sweet infographic. In addition to the finding of best time to tweet on Friday, @socialbro has a free, powerful dashboard you can auto-synch your Twitter account to view the best tweet times based on your audience’s behaviors. Great for driving retweets.
Cool, thanks for sharing. I will have to check it out.
A very amazing infographic Neil, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Theodore, happy to do so.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t a clue what retweeting is, much less how to do it. Where can I find more information about it – information I can trust, that is?
Easiest way to find out more about it is to signup and use Twitter.com
Thanks for this! I hadn’t thought about leaving room in my tweets for RT’s (slaps forehead) lol!
It’s the small things that we tend to overlook.
hey neil., u again nailed it.., so we will TWEET this is in ur own style..,
Thanks Uday, appreciate it.
I must say, this infographic is so clean and the message is clearly conveyed. Thanks Neil for this. Maybe I should reblog this, too. my readers will like (and retweet) this!
Thank you, that would be great it if you did.
Cool graphic Neil and scarily easy to view. I think that is the shortest time I have spend whilst picking up maximum info!
Thanks for the share.
Thanks Dan, good to know it was easy to to understand.
Really useful info, thanks. I have just tried the ‘please retweet’ when tweeting this. I’m interested in finding out the result!
Cool, let me know how it goes.
Wow, who knew there was so much logic and science behind retweets. Never actually gave it a thought but after reading your post, i am simply amazed that there is also a suitable time to tweet to get retweets. Where do you get this kind of data anyway?
At the bottom of the graphic are a list of the sites I got the data from.
Hi Neil I love your post & the photos in your post, it’s so fresh, so clear and helpful for me in SEO and blogging.
I don’t know how you know when is good time to Tweet, it’s so amazing …
Thanks and best wishes
I found that data through research. The sources at the bottom of the graphic is where I got the data from.
Great tips. Knowing the time of tweets and re-tweets is very important in getting more re-tweets. How did you come to know the exact time? is this EST?
Yes it is EST.
The sources at the bottom of the graphic is how I came up with it.
I’m still not getting retweets after being very active on Twitter and spent hours building relations with my followers and helping them in conversations.
Hope after implementing the above information I’ll see some retweets and traffic due to those recommendations.
Definitely give these tips a try and let me know how they work out for you.
NIce infographic, its not difficult to crack twitter.

You would have to tweet at me first.
But that won’t guarantee I will retweet you.
Hey Neil.
By far the best (and most entertaining) post on how to get RT’s.
‘nough said!
btw you just got RT-d.
Akos
Thanks Akos, appreciate it!
Re Tweeting other user’s content and producing great content yourself are probably the two main strategies for getting more Re Tweets.
Definitely, those are the best ways.
Interesting, why is the optimal time for tweeting noon to 2pm if you are on the East Coast, which means 9am to 11am Pacific time? In Hawaii, 7am to 9am, and so on. What makes essentially the lunch hour on the East Coast ground zero for maximizing the resonance of your tweets?
I am not sure, those are just the times studies, statistics and what I have personally seen show are the best times.
I think, this is a great way to improve ranking of the any website in Google… thanks a lots for posting this information..
Thanks glad you think so.
Amazing… Beautiful Infographic… The points i.e tweet time & Use only 70-100 character as it leaves room for RT that you made in your infographic was completely new for me. Thanks for sharing… Your blogs are always useful for us.
Thank you Rakesh, happy to hear this post was useful to you.
For timing and retweet depend with our follower online, i like some online service that we can check when peak time our follower online. I forgot what service, maybe twitteroid.
Yep, that would help you to best tailor your retweets to your followers.
Very nice infographic Neil, you have a very good skill at assembling those, and not only nice looking, also helpful information to maximize benefit on twitter, thanks.
