The Neil Patel Tattoo – The Ultimate Sign of Success

by Neil Patel on October 8, 2008

For each person success means a different thing. For me, it was when Pamela Lund tattooed my name on her body.

Life before the tattoo
pamela lund

The tattoo
neil patel tattoo

Life after the tattoo
pamela lund gun

What’s your ultimate sign of success?

** Update ** – For those of you who are wondering who Pamela is, she blogs at That Pam Chick and sells USB flash drives for a living.

What this really shows is that after you held her down and forced her to get that tattoo of your name, she got herself a bad ass gun as is now coming after you. :)

Pam’s too nice to ever shot anyone. Or at least shoot me. :)

That means i too have to get some one tattooing my name on their forehead ;) That would motivate me for my success :D

Reply

Neil Patel October 8, 2008 at 8:39 AM

Forehead would be awesome, but it would be hard to get someone to do that.

Reply

Chetan October 8, 2008 at 10:20 AM

I should meet you personally at least once in the coming time.. at least to get inspired :)
Then would find someone easily who would like to have my name on their forehead ;)

au contrare, that well known unnamed internet business paid a lady to do it. I guess with a lot of people it’s just a matter of price.

The branding of Niel… however I think Pamela needs to make a post and show the “whole story”! :P

That tattoo truly changed her life. I heard she had never even touched a gun before, but now she is pursuing a career as a mercenary/bounty hunter. Amazing!

It is so exciting to see the positive impact you are having on the world!

Reply

Neil Patel October 8, 2008 at 8:57 AM

The best part about this kind of branding is that it is permanent. ;-)

Reply

Deep Patel October 9, 2008 at 8:46 AM

hahaha, it sure is! You’ve taken branding quite literally, kind of like how cowboys do it in the wild wild west.

Thanks for the idea!

The Pam Stamp. Noticed she can shoot a gun. Good thing we kept the bullets away from her in SD. :)

Reply

Neil Patel October 8, 2008 at 1:50 PM

LOL. Even if we gave her bullets, she would still need a gun. :)

Reply

Sean October 8, 2008 at 1:48 PM

I think that Uzi with the silencer is illegal. Very illegal. I wouldn’t mess with her.

Reply

Neil Patel October 8, 2008 at 1:52 PM

You are probably right, but I don’t think that picture was taken in California. Maybe the gun laws outside of California are different.

Reply

Pam October 8, 2008 at 2:49 PM

It’s actually a MAC 10 fully auto 45 caliber with a silencer. And yes in California it would be illegal but that picture was taken in South Dakota and my Dad is federally licensed so he can have just about any gun he wants. Which means I get to shoot just about anything I want. :)

Reply

Sean October 8, 2008 at 3:27 PM

I surrender!

Hi Neil,

as usual, great story! I like the name tattoo on Pam’s lower back.. I guess that will change the slang from “Tramp Stamp” to “Champ Stamp”? :)

Next we need a portrait tattoo.. Perhaps you can hook up with Kat Von D over at LA Ink. She’s one of the best portrait artists around..

Keep it up, always finding new ways generate some buzz! I love it.

Wow that is crazy, is it a real tattoo or just a temporary?

Also the Mac-11 or mini uzi is a nice touch, every blogger needs wordpress, feedburner, and an uzi.

Reply

Neil Patel October 9, 2008 at 2:24 PM

Real… I don’t believe in temporary tattoos.

If every blogger had an uzi, we would be in big trouble.

Reply

Interesting discussion here btw.. lol! You have been inspiration for many and this (tattoo) only helps us improve better :P .. ha ha!

Reply
