I find it that I tend to perform worse, when I let my ego get too big. A perfect example of this for me, and where I learned it is from racing. I was winning alot on the track, but I let my ego get too big, but I've learned that the best way to do it is, is to try to stay as humble as I can, and I found that I perform better too, without the stress that comes along with the "ego" attitude.
